An Expression In Thread is located in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley in Corvallis, Oregon. Pat is a local resident who has lived her entire life in the area and raised her family in Corvallis. She has 2 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren, all girls, who enjoy quilts of their own to wrap up in. Besides sewing and quilting, Pat also enjoys her dogs, stained glass, knitting, crafty things of all varieties and reading.

Pat Derry brings a background of 45 years sewing experience to the long arm quilting world. Her current long arm quilter is a top of the line APQS Millenium.
